GEOLOCATED 3D MODELS INCLUDED FREE WITH EVERY TOPO SURVEY
After a lot of hard work last year we are able to offer the results of our aerial and terrestrial surveys in an easy to use pointcloud format FREE with each new survey we do!
Usually available within 24hrs of a survey, we can give a new perspective on the site with every detail captured and viewable right on your desktop, no additional software required.
Customised notes and viewpoints can be added before sharing with partners and clients. And we can even display design proposals and Revit models, correctly positioned, on the existing site
TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS
Our innovative approach can be tailored to the level of detail you need, in a cost effective way.
We produce accurate and detailed topographic surveys, from greenfield sites to inner city areas.
We go beyond the traditional TPS techniques and employ scanners and aerial surveys as part of our surveying toolkit. This means point cloud data can be made available, taking the details far beyond the standard 2D .pdf and .dwg files.
3D SCANNING / BIM
It doesn't have to cost the earth to pick up every single detail!
Whether it's mapping listed buildings for record or renovation, or capturing the as-built details of a complex project, advances in 3D scanner technology mean nothing need be missed.
The point clouds can contain billions of points and be used directly for measurements or to create floorplans and elevations. Keep building and we can end up with a complete 'digital twin' BIM model recreated in Revit, with every detail captured.
3D MODELLING & VOLUMETRICS
Producing geo-referenced point clouds and 3D digital terrain / surface models, alongside traditional topographic surveys, gives developers and engineers a greatly improved understanding of site conditions. This improves the outcomes of impact assessments, feasibility studies or flood risk modelling.
We can also calculate quantities more accurately, whether for individual stockpiles and spoil heaps or as 'existing vs design' cut and fill calculations covering the entire project area, and providing vital information at the planning and costing stages.
SITE SURVEYING
Combining the latest drone technology with GPS and TPS techniques results in vastly increased levels of detail in our site surveys, and the ability to cover much larger areas quickly and safely.
Regular surveys of live sites can be carried out with no disturbance to site activity. The data captured can provide a detailed progress record as well as helping to gain quantity calculations of ongoing operations, straight away or later on as required.
ADOPTION SURVEYS
Once the job is complete, we can help to collate the section 38, 278 and 104 adoption information with a single survey covering the whole site.
An orthomosaic image provides simple and unequivocal proof of what has been built. This means you can resolve any queries or measurements without further site visits.
MACHINE CONTROL
GPS machine control systems for excavators and dozers have been improving speed, safety and efficiency across projects of all types and size for several years now.
They are used for construction of roads, car parks and service yards while minimising waste, as well as for faster, neater excavation of foundations or drainage systems with fewer costly errors. Even for non standard applications like service avoidance, the benefits are undeniable. C-SE can help you get set up and use these regularly.
DRAINAGE AND UTILITIES SURVEYS
Working with our partners we are also able to provide full drainage and utility mapping across your site. This is usually coupled with a topographic survey to provide a complete site-wide investigation.
Utilising surveying techniques including ground penetrating radar, we can be sure to capture everything from domestic drainage to historic city trunk mains, lamp column feeds to high voltage cables.
